1994 Dodge Caravan Brakes , calipers, and rotors

Brakes problem
1994 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 135000 miles

My brake light has been coming on for a while. We found a leak by the rear passenger side drum and repaired it. Now, we just finished replacing all the pads and shoes and we replaced the front rotors and passenger side caliper on the front. I don't have any braking power. We bled the brakes and pumped them until the pedal was normal before test driving. However, when I drove around the block, I couldn't stop even after pumping the brakes. We checked for any leaks around the master cylinder, there were none and it remains full. Any suggestions?

You can bleed it... Bench bleed the master by getting brass plugs and screw them into the two ports, then pump the master until you cant move the piston any more. Attach the lines, Have an aide press and hold the pedal crack the lines and retighten, repeat this till all air is removed at the lines, Don't let the master run dry, bleed rear cylinders by opening the bleeders and wait until the fluid dripps out. Close bleeders. Make sure the rears are properly adjusted, then test the pedal hieght. I strongly recommend you replace the calipers in pairs. You still have air in the system, dont forget the ride hieght valve it you have one, hold the lever up and bleed rears...

We have bled the system and still no success......next step would be?

Get four brake hose clamps put one on each hose, now the pedal should be rock hard, if not either the master is no good or there is air in the system, now with motor running and a hard pedal, remove the clamps one at a time while keeping the pedal pushed, when you get to the troubled wheel, the pedal will drop when the clamp is removed. I still think you have air, or a real poor adjustment on the rear brakes. Try appling the parking brake, does it hold? Does the pedal improve with it on?
