No, the 3.0L is different case. The part number for either should be located on a decal on top of the transmission, they must match up, the number can be found on the front left side of the case where the oil pan mounts, this number or the number it supercedes to is the one you want, there may be some aftermarket units that can be used with either engine now, but I have not seen any. ok?
