Steering problem
1993 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i stupidly (probably because i was drunk) added tranny fluid into my power steering filler tube. is this gonna be a major problem? The power steering fluid was already leaking out a little (about a two inch diameter spot daily) before this mistake.

If you do not drain the fluid from the power steering system and replace it immediately with the correct fluid then , yes, you will have major issues with the power steering. Transmission fluid is not designed to get as hot as power steering fluid, so the tranny fluid will not lube the system properly and will cause damage to the power steering pump over time.
