Either standard or optional. Many companys are getting away from cables, because they are difficult to replace, streach over time and of course can break.

Most manufacturers build one (maybe two) wiring harnesses', and simply do not use connectors that do not have the option.


There are pros and cons to both systems, Good Job, though.

since there is pros and cons for both system its good to have both then i guess..but i just got my dodge,and its been standing outside for 2 years before i bought it with the unavoidable corosjon on electrical equipment...now after a few months of use,only the computer in the ceilingconsole inside does not always work..(the one that show fuelconsumption pr mile and some other optional infoes)i need to know where its connected?i meen what relay or fuse supply its current,and where its located on my 93 model

There are generally two fuse locations, one on drivers side kick panel (left foot) and in engine compartment. Most engine compartment fuses/relays are for high draw amp items like fuel pump.

Try kick panel, look for IP (instrument panel) or IP 2.

my alternator had worned down brushes,and altso a fracture between the threaded poles sticking out and the brushes themselfs.in norway i cant get that plastic part containing those brushes,only the whole generator wich cost more then i paid for the car..for now i broke the sides of the plasticholder,fitted new brushes,and softwelded cables directly from the brushes wires and then led them all the way around and out,connecting them directly to the cablegrid in the enginecompartment..altso had to make plasticlids to prevent then brushsprings from popping them out sideways..it works,but i wonder if the part can be ordered from the states?and costs of it if?
