1.Raise and secure the vehicle.
2.Loosen but do not remove the last four bolts (towards the back)
3.Loosen but do not remove the next four bolts (2 on either sides - towards the back. By now trans fluid should start to leak into your drain container. If not, tap the pan with rubber mallet to loosen the gasket/seal.
4.Repeat step 3
5.Repeat step 3 until all bolts are loosened
6.Remove 2 bolt at a time (from the back, one on either side) to drain the fluid
7.Repeat step 6 until all bolts are removed and trans pan is out
8.I don't remember how many bolts securing the filter. Remove them and install new filter
9.Scrape old gasket from the transmission side and the pan.
10.Dab a little of RTV sealant to the pan and attach the new gasket
11.Install pan back to transmission
12.Install do not tighten bolts
13.Tighten bolt using criss-cross pattern
14.Lower vehicle and don't forget to add transmission fluid. ATF+4, not Dexron III /Mercron
