Hi, I replaced the Coolant temp sensor & relay Temp Gauge goes way past 1/2 way but rad fan is not switching on!
I directly jumped the fan to battery and fan works. I am suspecting wiring. To the best of my limited knowledge the only thing left after that is computer! A test light showed voltage at the gray wire leading into the fan relay. I tried grounding the separate blue wire that goes to the relay but fan didn't switch on. I undid the green & black wired connection directly at the fan but test light did not come on even with the engine running. Would this be because there is no power till temp sensor sends signal, or could it be a fusible link is fried? If fusible link, which one? orange? What other wires can I try a test light on? I don't know how to use multimeter Thank you.
