Hi, wonder if anyone can help..
I'm a brit on a climbing roadtrip around the US, I've got a rental Dodge Caliber for the next month and have just driven up Sand Diego to Bishop (CA) 350 miles or so with no probs..
Just yesterday however a 'warning' message comes on at start up for a few seconds telling me to 'change oil', however it then goes off after a few seconds - I'm assuming that this is kinda precautionary at the moment as no warning lights come on at any other point..?
Problem is I have to drive over to Salt Lake City tomorrow (525 miles or so..) I'm no mechanic, and definitely can't afford to get the work done so wondered if it would be safe to drive over to SLC and then give it to the rental company there.. there's no manual with the car so I can't check this message out either..
Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated..
