1999 Dodge Avenger 6 cyl Automatic 70,000 miles

the left turn signal won't turn off, it stays blinking all the time. how do I make it stop.

Hi:
It sounds like the switch in the steering column has shorted and not shuting power off. You may want a second opinion, but that is what I would have checked first.
