Engine Performance problem
1989 Dodge Aries 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic ALOT miles
car revs up fine at idle. accelerates mildly to 40 mph then it just bogs out when you hit the gas above this speed. No check engine lights visible. Assume plugs, wires, etc are all good. No smell of it running rich at all...
Ideas?
Gonna check fuel pressure and filter, and air flow. This isn't my car, I am just trying to assist an elderly man w/ the computer stuff.
Also, what is procedure for self-diagnostics and whose got a list of codes?
