Hi,

I would be happy to help. On this vehicle, there is a bumper cover and then the primary bumper. If it is the primary one needing to be replaced, the cover needs to be removed first.

I will attach the directions below for both procedures.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe

I need to remove the bumper to fix an A/C line. Once repaired I want to put the bumper back on. Which will let me access the A/C lines?

Hi,

Since you referred to the front bumper, are you trying to remove the AC condenser? If that is the case, the bumper cover will need to be removed and not the main support.

Let me know if that is what you needed.

There is an A/C line I will have to repair or replace and it's behind the passenger side of the front bumper.

That sounds like one going to the condenser. I suspect it will require removal or at least partial removal of the bumper cover.

If you follow the line, does it run to the A/C condenser?

I found a hole in the A/C line under the front passenger side under the bumper. It looks to connect to the A/C Receiver Drier/Accumulator. I'm wondering if the connector I circled is removable from that section. For some reason when I upload it flips the photo.

Hi,

It appears to be removable because it is bolted on, but I am really struggling to determine what it goes to. I'm sorry.

Let me know.

I traced the line and it's connected to the small round part with the sensor on top. From there it connects to the side of the A/C compressor. I have to track down where the other side connects to and if there are any disconnect points. The connector with the nut I tried to pull it apart once the nut was removed but it didn't separate. Do I need a special tool to pull it apart? I will try to get some more images.

Hi,

It sounds like you are referring to the high-pressure switch. As far as the pics, once the retainer bolts are removed, it will come apart. If possible, tap around where it mounts with a light hammer or better yet, a rubber mallet.

Now, I attached a pic below. It shows what each component connects to. I highlighted where I believe you described, between the compressor and condenser.

Take a look at the pic and let me know if it helps.

Also, make sure that it is running to the compressor. I'm trying to remember where the pressure sensor is located, and I can't picture it near the oil filter.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

What is being recommended as far as components to be moved?
