I need to know how to put the car back in time after changing my pick up coil.

Hello, you need to set the number one cylinder to top dead center, this can be done by rotating the engine and either using a 1/4" long extension to tell when the one piston is top dead or a dowel (carefully so it do not crack off) and then you need to set the rotor to point at the distributor cap one wire terminal, I will upload a photo of where number one wire and terminal of the cap should be located. this will get you in the right area.
