Disarm SIR and remove tilt wheel lever

I asked how to remove ignition key tumbler and Kasekenny1 told me generally how (which I knew already) but didn't answer the real questions of how to disarm SIR and how to remove the tilt wheel lever. Can you tell me how?please?

Sorry I didn't provide that info. I didn't see the SIR system mentioned in the question so I didn't provide it.

Here is the process for disarming and enabling the SIR and to remove the tilt lever.

Thank you very much! I've tried to remove the tilt wheel lever as outlined but it is not budging. Is it possible this is a different design?Can there be a screw or clip i can only get to after the steering wheel is removed?

I have not personally taken one off this vehicle but most that I have taken off actually thread into the column so have you tried turning to the left like it were a screw? If that doesn't work, I can reach out to one of my dealers and see if one of their techs knows the trick. Just let me know. Thanks
