Dim turn signal after customized addon switchback DRL/turn signal led strips

I added switchback DRL/turn signal led strips to each headlight. Now my driver side halogen signal is very dim and blinks fast. The add ons are great and the other lights on the car are strong. I have even rewired that side and replaced that bulb but same dim bulb and fast blinking. When the headlight switch in the car is turned off during the day it works fine. When I have to turn my headlight switch on the problem occurs .

Hello, I'm Danny.

There are 2 possible things that need to be added when adding LED lights to a vehicle with standard or halogen lighting systems. First, sometimes an LED turn signal flasher needs to be swapped from the factory mechanical flasher. Second, most times resistors need to be added in-line to the lights wiring harness. If you let me know what brand switchbacks you've added up will look up what type of resistor it requires. Novita is a brand that makes led type flashers. I've attached picture steps below on how to change your turn signal-hazard light flasher. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
