Did i mess up a simple cleaning of a MAP sensor

I went to wipe down the MAP sensor with MAP cleaner and I only unplugged the connector from the sensor then i sprayed both ends directly with MAP spay. my question is, do I need to replace the wires as well or just the sensor?

Good morning,

First, you cannot clean the mass airflow sensor. The part that gets carbon on the end has hardened carbon and causes it not to read correctly. There is no cleaner made that will remove the carbon from the sensor end.

The cleaner will clean the outside area very well.

Why are you attempting to clean it?
