I'm a female so bear with me as I don't know all the car lingo.
Out the other day, I was at a red light and when the light turned green, I proceeded to turn left and was about to get hit by an oncoming vehicle and I panicked. I believe I was in first, or maybe second gear. All I remember is my car revving up very loudly. I know I had the gas pedal to the floor. But I'm not sure if I had the clutch pedal pushed down. I'm assuming the clutch pedal was pushed down or i would have hit the car in front of me, but it was revved up so loud. I did not get hit by the other car. My car smelled hot for a few minutes but drove fine. Now, a few days later I noticed my car smells hot like something is burning, after I've been driving for a while. Do you think I damaged anything?
