Install by starting at the generator, route belt around all pulleys except for tensioner. Rotate belt tensioner clockwise in order to release the spring tension. I was looking at both 3.5L and 3.9L and looks to me like they are the same? Here is diagram for a 3.5L. And this one is 3.9L.

if you go to repair and service then diagrams it is right there. however, if you are replacing belt replace tension-er as well as it is worn out too. See picture.
