I recently bought a GM EXPERTEC TECH -1 TA01129 DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER w/ Modules,ALDA Cable, and Manual. Everything in the service manual says to use a Tech - 1 for Diagnostics, but the tech 1 I bought only has a ECM Module for 86 to 90.and I cant find out anything about this tool or if I can even get a module that will work on my car? Does anyone know if there is something available that will work?
I have been having intermittent running issues for the last several months and its driving me nuts.I have tried several things including, new opti spark and wires and plugs, new fuel filter, new o2 sensors. I have checked the injectors,they seem to be working fine.I would just like to be able to use this tool to see whats going on.
Any help out there?
