There is a knocking noise coming from the front wheel area when i travel on a bumpy road or go over speed humps etc. it has gradually gotten worse since i had the clutch replaced a few weeks ago. where the mechanics had to drop engine to access gearbox and clutch, would they have needed to also remove the front suspension and ball joints, CV joints etc.?
The noise does not occur when cornering unless its a bumpy corner.
How do i tell whether its the CV Joint or the Ball Joints that need replacing? One of the boots on my CV Joint is also broken but the noise seems to come from both sides on the front.
It now also has a bad vibration at the steering wheel when going above 90 km/h and its 10 times worse when going 120 km/h.
Vehicle listed above: RD24 AWD
