How can I prevent leaves from falling into the defroster?

There are no actual processes from the manual on how to prevent this but the way I have seen in the past are people will use screen door mesh over the openings such as the cabin filter and cowl. Clearly this will still need to be cleaned off but it should prevent the leaves from falling down into the cowl.

Let us know if you have and we can work through it but I attached some info on preventing odors and info about the cowl panel.

Clearly this is not a perfect solution but unfortunately this is a common issue especially on vehicles that are parked outside. Thanks
