Dashboard vent How do I replace?

How do I replace the vent the direction controls are sticking, does the vent just pop out of the dash or do I have to take the whole dash off

You don't need to remove the dash to pop the vents out, they are held in by pressure clips. Use a plastic trim tool to gently pry around the edge of the vent bezel which are usually held in with friction clips, and pop out with moderate force. Work slowly and evenly around the edges to avoid cracking the trim. The ducting will clip into the vent which you should be able to get to once the vent is removed. Let us know how it goes.
