My dashboard is completely out; nothing is working. Left and right signals do not work; does not show how many miles I am driving or engine temperature; gauges in dashboard are not working as of August 10, 2016. This occurred while I was driving on tenth, but dashboard came back on. On eleventh while driving it happened again so I came home, parked my car and I am trouble-shooting today praying for help! I was told by Jiffy Lube person during my last change one month ago I had a light out and that fuse was burned to see mechanic. It seems to be an electrical problems and I need help stat. Thank you.

have a mechanic check to see if dash is bad, it may need rebuilt he will have to program it to your car for it to work. he can check to see if voltage is coming through harness to dash.

Thank you so much! I just remembered about three and half weeks ago, I was driving and would drive over some bumps in the road and each time I drove over a bump my air conditioner would come on. Also, when I would close the compartment located on my dashboard it would cause issues with my dashboard. It seems to be connected.

Ford Five-Hundred 2006 SEL; V-6 Automatic. But what about the issues with lights on dashboard going out. As I suspected and as you and a recommended electrical specialist suspected on an over the phone conversation this issue is based in an electrical issue. I think it emanates from an issue with the dashboard. I am praying it will not be costly as I need my car for work and I drive a lot 1/2 the time over 300 miles. I am not taking it over great distances because of this issue though. I am waiting for the electrical engineer to call me back; meanwhile I am somewhat stationary.
