OBD 2 scanner reads code P0340-malfunction of the camshaft position sensor.
Please help me to find the exact location of the camshaft position sensor and what things to be removed to reach the sensor.

I attached the info below. I would suggest running through the test just to confirm it is the sensor. That is the most likely cause but it could be a wiring issue. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks

Okay. Unfortunately, the OEMs don't always take pictures of each specific engine and then show locations for each sensor. As you can imagine this would be a lot of pictures if they took one for each sensor on each engine.

The idea is the same though. Your sensor should be in the similar location even though the engine is different.

Sir, I got 4 codes as follows;
1. P0301 :misfire in cylinder 1
2. P0600 :serial communication link
3. P0340 :camshaft position sensor A circuit bank 1 or single sensor
4. P0341: camshaft position sensor A circuit range/performance bank1 or single sensor
I switched spark plug coil 1 to 4 & also changed the spark plug in 1 but still code shows misfire in cylinder 1.So Sir please what can be the problem.

Okay. The P0301 is just a misfire so we need too chase that down after the cam issue is resolved. There is a chance that this gets solved with the cam sensor however I doubt it.

As for the cam sensor codes, the only option is to run through the testing that I provided before. Unfortunately it could be the sensor but it could also be the wiring or control module so we don't want to guess.

The last code is something we are going to need more info on. is there a specific module that it listed? Basically this is saying that the communication network cannot communicate with a module so it needs to be tested with the scan tool.
