When I shut off the truck, everything turns off except the dash lights. The only way to make them go out is to take the fuse out. My dimmer switch (not for headlights, for dash lights intensity) does not adjust the light level. However, when fully on, the interior light will come on. How can I fix this?

the headlight switch powers it so when you pull fuse out with truck off see if power is still going to fuse if it is it may be a bad headlight switch. also check ground at right hand back of cab it may be broken wire.

Okay. The fuse still had power even after unplugged. Getting a new headlight switch shortly.

Replacing the headlight switch didn't change anything. Also, Ken, your images didn't attach.

did you check the ground where I said also check battery to body ground may be the cause as well. Also check the door jamb switches wires may be rotted off due to age just take them out and see if wires are connected you will have to check both doors or however many you have any one of them can cause this. check ground from rear cylinder head to body firewall and at data llink connector under dashas well as inner fender well by battery or battery to fender

Yep sorry about not getting the diagrams up, here they are.

It looks like the DRL module could be causing the problem.
