how do i remove the crankshaft pulley on a 2000 daewoo nubira? or lock the crank to remove the center bolt? it has 4 allen wrench bolts screwed into the holes around the center bolt. i tried to remove these but all i did was break my allen wrench in half as they are in there really good. any answer will help thanks

The best way is to rent or borrow an electric impact wrench, they can generate over 400lb ft of torque.

Spray the bolts with PB Blaster the night before. Get the correct size allen wrench, because you do not want to strip the heads on these.

I just took this guy off on Sunday. I used a #7 allen wrench (I'm pretty sure) and I actually used a screw driver that is designed to take different bits (phillips, flathead, etc.). I inserted the end of the allen wrench into the slot for the bits, so that with the sleeve of the screwdriver around the allen wrench, I could put a lot more leverage on the bolt without hurting my hand. This worked. They all popped. However, yours may be tighter, in which case I would suggest some PB blaster beforehand. The previous poster is correct, in that an impact wrench is best, but I don't know if you can fit it up there with the lack of space.
