2001 Daewoo Matiz car won't start

hi everyone i have daewoo matiz se 2001 itz been running good.suddenly ignation problem come up with it .
i just want to know if i can start the car without ignation switch. if no do i need to buy new ignation barial. if i get it do i need code from the dealers and i also want to know where they put the code. in the key or in the new ignation barial.
