I have had an issue with my high coolant fan engaging during a few minutes of driving. I have replaced the water pump, put a new Ford dealer thermostat on, replaced the A/C pressure sensor etc., and it still comes on. I've done research leading to the cylinder head temperature sensor or coolant temperature sensor. My gauge will go to hot, and it would have to stop, turn off my truck, and wait a minute before I could turn it back on... Please help... I need suggestions. Thank you...

Not a problem but I want to clarify that you have a 5.0L engine. You noted that this was a 6.0L but I assume you meant the 5.0L.

Here is a guide that has useful info on issues caused by temperature sensors:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/symptoms-of-a-bad-coolant-temperature-sensor

You may not need it but that does have good info in it.

Below you will find the location of the CHT sensor. Unfortunately, it is under the manifold so that will have to come off in order to replace it.

I attached the entire process for this as well.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
