What would a transmission repair cost? I’ve heard a lot of issues with CVT transmission and wondering if a repair is even with it.

Hi,
The cost is really related to what needs to be repaired. I can tell you, most times they are simply replaced. If you could find a good used one with a warranty, that would likely be your best option.
As far as cost, I attached two pics below. The first one shows the cost of a new transmission. Note, there are two different ones. The one you need will be based on the production date.
Pic 2 shows labor for removal and replacement. The hours shown are multiplied by the shop hourly rate.
Keep in mind, many shops charge for supplies and so on, so it can be more. I would honestly try to find a low mileage one that comes with a warranty. It will be much less money for the part.
