This has obviously the CVT transmission, and they suggest no maintenance by me needed or allowed, but if they sell the pick up filter and cvtf+4 fluid, and pan seal stuff, why can't i just do it myself like i have done for any other cars i have had, not cvt but regular. from all my research it states 7 ltr. any thoughts?

You can service it but it is just not required. However, they sell all the stuff like this because there may be a reason to open the unit to inspect it or replace some parts. If that is the case then you will need to service the unit.

Below is the process from the manual on how to do this including the spec on the oil and amount.

Please let us know if you have other questions. Thanks

Hello KASEKENNY1, thanks for the info. yeah, this is all the same stuff the dealership is telling me, but they also telling me it might not be the transmission. yes, the gasket needs changed but their not stating it is strictly the transmission, might be a wire loose, coil pack going, spark plug boot cracked. anyhow, it scheduled for a diagnostic exam Friday, after I'll give update. the service you guys provide is invaluable.

From what I can tell the vehicle is running poorly or not accelerating?

Depending on what it is doing, this could be the steal belt in the CVT is slipping.

This is a pretty common issue. However, keep us posted on what you fine and thanks for the kind words. We are here for what you need. Thanks

I spoke with the dealership again, it's going in to them Friday, and from what they're telling me this doesn't sound too serious since it's been acting up roughly a month now and there are no codes, no warning bells and whistles. might be just a bad wire connection.this has so many sensors and electronic control things that could be the cause. but i will keep you posted.
