Hi, just wondering when replacing CV joint on the vehicle listed above AWD does the emergency brake cable get disconnected?

Here is a guide that will help replacing this. This is for the front end, but it does have good info with it.

I am also attaching the info from the manual below on the rear axles. You need to remove the caliper, but it appears the cable can stay attached.
