CV axle replacement

I'm trying to replace my factory passenger side CV axle, and this is the second one I've ordered, and it isn't the exact same as the factory. the middle bar is a little thinner, the same length screws slight shorter though I was wondering if the replacement has to be the exact same.

Hello,

Are you talking about the center shaft part? (Look at picture below, circle in red)

Is the spline the same size?

If you just have the different diameter for the center part, but all the other dimensions and measurements are the same then it will work. The shaft can be thinner due to the material or production capabilities.
