so, I'm replacing my CV axle on the front passenger side and i can't get it all the way inside the transmission because where i put the 2 bolts in the triangle shaped part prevents it from going any further is it possible that it's just too short or i was sold the wrong one because regardless of how I've tried i can't get it to go any further due to that triangle.

Thanks for the images, can you match up the old axle to the new one to make sure the lengths are correct? Also, the dust shield on the new axle could be in the incorrect place, which can happen during the CV axle manufacturing process. Does it seem like the axle is in the transmission all the way? The second to last image seems like it is installed correctly. I do not see the triangle part you are talking about?

No because i threw it out after i bought one prior to this that did but arrived damaged only i didn't see the damage until the trash was taken and sent it back and ordered this one from another place online, but it was a complete match according to the adds description. Is it possible that it was made too short? I've tried everything i can to get it to go in but it just won't due to the outer bracket in fact if it's not bolted into that bracket it falls back out. So, are there different lengths for my specific model?

the triangle part I'm talking about is the bracket that takes 2 bolts that's by the wheel area the 1 you bolt the axle into but its not going in any further because this bracket that cant be moved the axle cant go completely inside my transmission it just falls out if i don't bolt it into that bracket I've changed this axle several times due to letting a idiot work on it to begin with but this time i just cant get it to stretch long enough on the other side of this bracket.

It could be I would call an auto parts store to see if there are different options. It could be the retainer clip might have fallen off of the axle that goes into the transaxle. If nothing seems to work I would get a replacement axle from Rockauto.com

That is the outside nut retainer that works with the cotter pin. It must be the wrong axle, or the axle you have is defective.

Something because I've never saw 1 of these come with or installed on any of the axles I've had to buy for this car and because i can get the splines aligned but not completely in idk does it matter about the ABS ring if i have abs on it i have to have an axle with that ring right.

Yep, I would try another axle it bolts to the engine so it should not have a problem such as the car being in an accident.

Is there any tool i can use to help get the new seal back in without damaging it for the 10th time and how far does it need to go inside the opening to the CVT all the way or just inside of the opening?

It looks like there is a special protector tool that is used for this job which I have included the instructions over and diagrams in the images below. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
