Cup holder burned

So in my car, the place where you would put your cups and stuff like that or candy in the front got burned because my friend in the passenger side carelessly put his cigarette there and forgot to take the fire off and we went to the store and came back and when we got there the whole car is smoke and as soon I opened the door I turned of the little fire that was there . Thankfully everything was okay and we caught it in time. but the cup holder burned off and made a hole through the car .so I was wondering if I could fix it. I can also share picture of it.
