It just and cranks, then sounds like free spooling?

Replaced the front crankshaft seal.
Started up with super high idle so, I turned it off, went to turn back on to adjust and cranks, then sounds like free spooling and like it is struggling to turn over. Free spooling sounds like the starter spindle not engaging. But I didn't even touch that part of the car.

Sure, I would disassemble the front cover to see if the timing belt is turning when the engine is cranking over.

Timing belt is brand new. Just replaced starter again. Still aou.ds like free spooling and not engaging with flywheel at all.

Sorry, forgot to post. Got it fixed. Jumped timing. And the tensioner was loose. Re-timed and checked every bolt. Runs great. Thanks.
