Crankshaft pulley

Went to remove crank pulley and my puller pretty much shattered i believe there is approximately 1/4 inch of the puller in the bolt hole and about 1/2 inch sticking out that is angled i tried hitting it out but was not successful any tips are appreciated with removal of broken puller and pulley.

Can you show us a picture of the puller please? I think you might have been using the installer. Did it thread in? if so then that was the installer.

have you applied any heat to the pulley boss to help expand it while applying pressure?

go get a steering wheel puller, they are small and fairly strong, you will have to drill and tap two holes or the pulling bolts and clean up the centre boss bolt so the mandrel sits flush, apart from this you will have to drill a series of small holes and split the pulley off, i would have thought heat and pressure would have moved it.......

It must be tight... with it loaded up on the puller apply some heat as well as that will
