Crankshaft position sensor malfunction P0385

DTC code been on, ive also recently repaird thr wire connecting the harness to the knock sensor as well as replaced it with a new one. Both codes were showing, CKP&KS, and i could not reliably confirm which type of CKP my car has?! My engine is running very poorly, it shutters and shakes, stutters, shudders at idle, i need to get it replaced with a new one however im uncertain of where its located and which one to buy!?

The crankshaft sensor is on the lower left side of the engine. Here is an image of the sensor so you can change it out, be sure to clear the codes afterwards. I would stay with a name brand for the sensor like Denso. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes

Is the left side of engine, described above, the driver or passenger side of vehicle?

What do you mean? "The crankshaft sensor is on the lower left side of the engine" which with the engine in the car is toward the front of the car.

Its not the blocky black sensor behind timing cover behind crank pulley? If not can i get a diagram and a better image please?

I see the problem, this car has 2 crankshaft sensors. Here is a better diagram. Check out the images (below).

Where it shows CKP 2 I found the sensor matches closest based off image you sent and accidentally broke the plastic body of the sensors' connector. The sensor that broke is the reverse indicator sensor and I do not understand why nothing and nobody knows where it is, I cant afford the first (CKP 1 shown in last image) because its $300+ and I still havent checked how much that sensor i frickin broke is yet

Yep, they can be expensive. Okay I found it, you need to remove the timing belt to get to the primary or main crankshaft sensor. Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.
