Where is the Crankshaft position sensor located?

My God mom's car is acting funny. Its intermittent start and just began to shut off while driving. It's not throwing any codes. Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, this can be the crankshaft sensor or the fuel pump etc. We need to see if it will start on starting fluid when the engine stalls out, this way we can see if the problem is ignition or fuel related. Please go over this video which can help us see what the problem could be:

Here is the location of the crankshaft sensor which would be a good start because when they fail it will cause this issue, it is on the right side of the engine block near the front. Thanks for the quick response. Everytime I have attempted to replicate the problem the car acts fine. So I'm at a loss.

The sensor can fail intermittently either hot or cold. But it can be the MAF sensor, fuel pump, ignition switch, or the engine control relay. These problems can be hard to find because there are so many things that can heat up and cause this issue. Please go over this guide:
