Crankshaft position sensor location?

I'm just trying to find the correct location of the crankshaft position sensor for my 2.8 L V6. It's not available anywhere online, and especially not for the 2.8

It is in the right side of the engine block in line with the crankshaft and about 3 inches from the split line between the engine and the transmission. You have to access it from under the car, there is a heat shield and harness that need to be moved a bit.

It looks like it is located on the passenger side towards the rear, just under the valve cover on the head. See the diagram I attached ref #2 is the sensor.
