Cranks but will not start?

Hi,

Did you confirm the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specifications? If not, do that first.

As far as the issue, I suspect you are getting fuel, but not enough pressure to run the vehicle. That is why I'm suggesting the pressure test.

The code you provided is related to an electrical issue and not the pump itself.

If you look at the attachments below, they provide the diagnostics specific to this code. Take a look and let me know if this is something you feel comfortable performing.

I found intermittent power to the pump and no fuel to the rail. It'll run on ether. Unfortunately, I feel it's the internal fuel pump relay....

Are you referring to the TIPM? If you are, have you checked the pins in the connector or if there is power being provided?

Intermittent power to the fuel pump. Both sides of the fuse test good though. I have not actually pulled the TIPM and checked the connectors and pins.

I suspect that is where there is an issue. There are two connectors, C2 and C7. See pics 1 and 2 below.

Now comes the fun part. LOL Disconnect the battery before you do this. There are eleven connectors on the TIPM. To add insult to injury, both of the connectors you need to find are light gray. One is a 14-pin connector, and one has 22 pins.

If you look at pics 3 and 4, they show the connectors. I highlighted the pins to check. Note that the connector is the female end, and On the TIPM side, is the male connector. Check both but check the pins really closely for corrosion and make sure the pin isn't broken.
