Cranks but will not start

When I put the key in the ignition and try to start it everything work, it will try to start but not get any spark to it. We run the codes and it said the ignition coil. so we replaced that and still the same problem. What could it possibly be?

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP). It is used by your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) to keep track of where the engine is in its four stroke cycle. If the PCM doesn't get a signal from the CKP then it will not fire the spark plugs or start.
