Truck will crank, but won't start. original problem was no power to fuel pump, but could jump, relay and, pump and truck would run. replaced oil pressure switch, now the truck has no power to coil ignition control, mod crank, sensor or distributor. all fuses are good and have power when key is on. also tried hooking up scan tool and could not get it to link.

Hello,

This sounds to me like it could be a wiring problem coming the Powertrain Control Module(PCM) a.k.a. "computer". Having said that, I have included for you, a troubleshooting guide from the vehicle manufacturer for you in the diagrams down below. Please go through it and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks fir the reply. I got the truck running. the wire harness came unplugged right above the brake booster. I couldn't see it because it had a black cover over it.
