Cranking or fuel issues

Early in the morning, my truck cranks fine (when the motor is cold). But once the motor heats up, it will not crank again until it cools down. Can you give me some ideas please?

Often times, a bad crankshaft position sensor will fail when hot. Take a look through this link:

If you feel this could be the issue, here are the directions specific to your vehicle for replacement. The attached two pictures correlate with these directions.



COMPONENTS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL
REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
- Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.

- Remove the crankshaft position sensor bolt.

Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kgf.cm, 69 in lb)

INSTALLATION HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
