cracked heater core outlet on the block

i know alot of models have a srew in fitting on the block but mine is stationary. how would you go about fixing this?? im using jb weld right now but i just learned about jb weld water type any suggestions

Most heater outlets on the block are punched in instead of screwed in and if you are not able to perform any sort of welding on it, you would need to have it replaced if the jb weld does not work.

Removing the tube should not be too difficult if you punch on it from the sides to loosen the tube. If the tube is badly corroded, that would be a problem. Getting a replacement might not be too easy so you might need to fabricate it from a tube of similar size.

So have you ever heard of anyone having luck with jb weld,, or the water weld???

If it is done correctly, it should work. I have used epoxy sealer before and it works.
