CPS wiring cut (under-hood)?

Okay, I was working to change the crank sensor since just lately it cranks a little long before starting. It seems to have lost some pickup also. So, after pulling the sensor out I realized the wiring (all three) were cut clean. The problem with this is the cut is less than two inches from the larger wiring loom. Where can I access these same wires under the hood so to run new wires without standing on my head ? The spot is low and dark against the firewall.
