How much is it to replace the flexplate?

I'm looking at buying the car listed above, but the owner says that I would have to replace the flexplate. about how much would that cost to have done by a mechanic? would it be better to do it myself?

Hello,

I added a image of about what the part cost and the labor time. You would have to call around to get an exact price because every shop charges different labor rates. you have to remove the transmission from the vehicle. I have attached the procedure for that also. If you feel comfortable removing the transmission then go for it. once the transmission is out the flex plate bolts to the crankshaft.
