Hi there, I am losing about a half cup of coolant after a drive no water in the oil. I have just replaced the expansion tank as well. I have only had to top it up twice car maxed out today at about 89 degrees on a thirty degree day. Thanks.

There is a minor leak somewhere and a pressure test would help to determine where the leak is coming from. First look for signs of coolant residue, usually radiators are common leakage area for BMW. Other areas to check would be the water pump, hose joints and hoses.
