Cooling fans go on four minutes after engine starts

In my car listed above 2.2 I-ctdi, four minutes after starting (as soon as cooling fluid temperature reaches 30 Celsius) the car cooling fans go on and the car starts giving little white smoke out of the exhaust. Changed cooling fluids (no oil in the cooling fluid). Car worked normal for a couple of days, then the problem returned. Changer cooling temperature sensor on the radiator, didn't helped.
Where else to look for solution? Did someone had this problem? Need help.

Hi,

The white smoke is a concern. Are you losing coolant? I ask because when coolant enters the combustion chamber, it burns white. Although you see no mixing doesn't mean it isn't burning in the engine.

As far as the fans, have you checked the fan relays?

Take a look through this link that explains about head gasket issues and what to look for. See if there is anything that mirrors what you experience.

I have Honda Civic VIII FK3 whit 2.2 i-CTDi N22A2 140HP/103KW Diesel (Assembled in Britain). No milky goo on the oil cap, and no Leakages from motor. No overheating(after more than an hour work cooling fluid temperature stay at 75 Celsius) and no indications on missing cooling fluid. Have a couple of screenshots from OBD there's a difference right after cooling fluid temperature reaches 30 fans start to work on high, turning A/C on/off switches fans to low/high.But they don't go off. Before the cooling fans kick in everything is fine after 30 degrees Celsius fans kick in. White smoke is so little that you almost don't see it only when sun shines on the exhaust is it slightly visible.

That's why I didn't see the engine listed. It isn't offered in the US, so I have no technical info on it. However, I will still try to help.

Have you checked the fan relays?
