Cooling fan turns on only once

My cooling fan only turns on once. I have to disconnect the battery terminal and connect back again. So it comes on again. AC fan is working perfect. I trouble checked both relays, all the fuss thermal fan switch. Everything is working perfect. Need help.

Thank a lot Ken. If I disconnect the battery terminals for one day. And connect back again. The cooling fan turns on when I turn on the A/C. But when I turned off the A/C, and turn on again, cooling fan will not work again. A/C fan works perfect.

Yes, this sounds like the fan control module. Have you replaced it yet?

The diagram shown is not a part by itself. It is a junction connector where wires are joined.
When the fan stops, give it some knock to see if it starts working again. There is a possibility the fan is running out of carbon brushes and works intermittently.

Fan control module, have to be the problem. That is corrosion, but why is the reason for that?

Yes, you found the problem, corrosion is normal after time and usage. Clean the connector contacts before installing the new part.

Did you replace the radiator cooling fan motor when you did the controller? If not then the fan motor is going bad pulling too many amps through the controller and you must clean the connector thoroughly or that will cause issues as well.
