How many coolant temperature sensors and where are they located?

Hi,

There are three on the vehicle. One is for the gauge/fans and the other for the powertrain control module.

If you look at pic 1 below, I included the sensor A sensor. It is tied into the cooling fans. Pic 2 shows the other two.

I also attached the wiring schematic for the fan circuit. It was a page long. I had to cut it in half to make it readable for you. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

Hmmm... I will look at it in a day or two. I will also send some pictures of what I am looking at. The information is useful. Also I circled (1) It had a long brass rod. For (2) does it have a flat bottom to it?

If I recall, yes. If you are having a problem with overheating or the fans not turning on, pic 1 above is the one I suspect is the one to focus on.
