Coolant temperature sensor location

I Have not been succefull in locating the sensor and have not been able to find a diagram that shows the 4.6 Northstar motor with the sensor on it.

I have contacted Just ask.com and was sent three diagrams not matching what i have.

I was told that it may be located under the EGR valve which i believe have located.

if i am siting in the drivers seat it would be directly in front of me low enough on the motor that i cannot lay eyes on it.

Please Help! lol

does anyone know the replacement cost for a mechanic to do it?

The Haynes manual which i paid for also does not have his year make or model. every procedure manual i have seen so far does not have a definitive procedure for this car. Is there is one? please help.

I love this car and it's never had an oil leak and has never overheated.

It would be a crime to take her out back and put a bullet in it just because I cannot seem to do such a simple thing.
