Coolant temp sensor

thanks for responding.to my mail.. i sent your response to A-1 auto,this is the shop who wanna rewire my car,which i wont do.he said he did a pressure test and test the cts sensor,all is good. now hes telling me that a need a map sensor,he said this would cause this problem.but i now refuse tp let him touch my car..How to he get from a short in the wiring for 600.00 for him to find it to a map sensor.Something is wrong with this guy.He said everything you mention was tested ok.

You must take the car to a different mechanic, this person does not know what he is doing i feel.
